About kyc0

A small desk with a strict evidence rule.

kyc0 tracks the published prices of KYC and identity-verification vendors, compares providers against stated buyer scenarios, and summarizes country KYC rules from the legislation and regulator texts that actually control them.

Who runs the site

kyc0 is researched, written, and maintained by one independent researcher. It is not a vendor content team, an agency, or a marketplace, and no KYC vendor owns any part of it or holds approval rights over what gets published.

Because the desk is small, the trust model is verification rather than reputation: every consequential fact is linked to the legislation, regulator publication, or official vendor page it came from, together with the date it was checked. You are not asked to take a byline’s word for anything you can check at the source.

How the research is done

Country requirement pages cite only legislation publishers and regulators. Public price facts come only from official vendor pages and carry the date they were checked. Vendor accuracy and performance statements stay labeled as vendor claims unless kyc0 has tested them, and private pricing is shown as unknown rather than estimated into certainty.

The full evidence ladder, comparison method, update policy, and correction process are published on the methodology page.

How the site makes money

kyc0 is designed to earn revenue from clearly labeled vendor referral links. As of 18 July 2026 no affiliate link is active, and the disclosure page will be updated before one is introduced. Partner status cannot change whether a vendor is included, where it ranks, or what the research concludes.

What kyc0 is not

  • Not legal advice. Verify obligations with qualified counsel and your regulator.
  • Not a reseller or marketplace. kyc0 does not sit in your purchase.
  • Not a lead broker. The cost calculator runs in your browser, and the site does not collect or sell the quote data you enter.
